Borack Obama's presidential campaign has engaged prosecutors and sheriffs in Missouri to monitor ads looking for falsehoods and lack of truths. They state that they will use the law to prosecute anyone who puts out youtubes and political ads that mock or falsely accuse Obama.
Really?? truth in politics... should the two words be in the same sentence.
I somewhat agree that negative campaigning is ineffective. As mentioned in a previous blog, I want candidates to tell me what they are going to do, not what their opponent won't do.
I think we should take these truth squads a step further. When Borack Obama or his camp state things that are "good" that he has done, let's make sure the truth squads can verify this.
Like when he says, "I told Congress about Fannie Mae 2 years ago" Beep ... lie.
I say at the next debate lets hook up both candidates to a lie detector. When they answer a question the commentator can reply "Uh, Senator, thats a lie.."
Just like the reality Show, (whatever it's name is ) I think that would make for great TV.

Democracy at its finest!
I find it amazing that American Soldiers go to war in other countries promoting Democracy.
Yes a democratic government is the best type to have. Margaret Thatcher once said, "freedom is divinely inspired." All of humanity want to feel like they matter and their lives have value and reason.
How interesting today that 99% of American Voters, remember, voters, voters that make this state a democracy have clearly, loudly, strongly told their representatives in the house and Congress that they do not want this bail out. E-mails, letters, phone calls, have been inudating their offices. The same people who they are supposed to represent are talking to them, they're not listening.

Borack Obama = empty suited copy cat
As most people around me know, I am not a democrat. I do not support democratic ideology.
Nor am I a right winger. I do believe in our entitlement programs just want them better,
do believe in helping others when they need help, hence my occupation.
Because I am a minority in my political stance here in Ct., I began to think maybe I'm wrong.
Maybe there is something to these dems. So really I began to look at Borack Obama. I watched his speech at the convention... thought it to be great...
Watched the primaries with Hillary. Laughed at Hill when she complained that Borack always got to be the 2nd person to answer. Hillary complaint that in answering 2nd he always used her answer. Thought Hill was a whiny, cry baby loser.
Now in watching the news intensely for the last couple of days I see what Hill was talking about.
Borack Obama doesn't have his own answers. He waits thens says what McCann said.
For instance, yesterday when Obama called McCann to ask him to make a joint statment,
I believe now it was because Obama has no idea what to say.. It was really laughable when he decided not to go to Washington to help with the bail out.. rather.. Hey, they can call me if they need me.
Its even more laughable when he gives a news conference stating "Well I see they're implementing my ideas.. They're going to do away with the golden umbrella, help taxpayers.. yada.. yada .. yada..
You're ideas...!!! You weren't there to state your ideas... oh right, forgot you were on the phone several times a day with Hank Paulson. I guess when you go to Washington today, because you have no other choice too.. summon there and all by George Bush you can sit quietly listening to other peoples solutions to this problem... Vote Present....
Then take credit for fixing the problem.

I've been up all night for 2 nights trying to follow the news of the Wall Street Bail out.
My Question: Why Friday?
Apparently, according to the news source, a bailout agreement has to be reached by the opening of the Asian market on Monday. Why? What is happpening. What do they know that we don't.
What I have learned from late night news is this:

amassed a trillion dollars worth of bad mortgages. Sold these bad mortgages to banking houses under pressure from Fannie/Fred the banks bought theses mortgages. The banks under the misconception that Fannie/Freddie were quaranteed by the government.
What you won't see in main stream media news is that in 2004 the Wall Street Journal published an article saying that Fannie/Freddie had to be reigned in.
In 2005, the then Republican Head of Banking in Congress, Richard (somebody) I'm tired can't recall his name, asked Congress for reform and control of Fannie/Freddie. The republicans in the house voted to regulate. The Dems led by Barney Frank and Chris Dodd voted against regulation for Fannie/Freddie.
In 2005, Alan Greenspan went before Congress cited that if Fannie/Freddie was not reigned in there were be calamatous outcomes. Hence, here we are now.
There is no guarantee that the bail out will help or work. Thousands of e-mails are arriving in all representatives offices citing that Americans do not support this bailout.
How can they spend our money without our approval.

Wall Street Bailout
As per ususal the do nothing congress is again doing nothing but huffing and puffing about what they want done regarding the 700 billion dollar bailout. As usual, its politics as usual, the dems telling the reps that you can't have it unless its done our way. Really??? Really??
How about the fact the you Dems got us in this mess to begin with.. Why aren't you out there with your media buddies saying, "yeah we fucked up. Greenspan told us 4 years ago this would happen.. We didn't listen."
The hold up.. "We don't want any golden umbrellas for CEO's" Really?? Really??
The Drudge recently published a list of millionaires in the congress and senate.. Its okay for you guys to be millionaires, but no one else Really??
A news article that was recently published, listed members of congress and the senate who received campaigned funds from AIG. For instance, Senator Dodd, Ct. received 9 million dollars. Hey Chris, give them back their money they need it. As a matter of fact, this is what should be demanded by the American people. Any legislators who received funds from these struggling companies should pay them back.
Borack Obama received 100 thousand from Fannie Mae. Hey, PAY THEM BACK..
Nancy Pelosi and John Kerry are the biggest stock holders in AIG.. Why don't you lend them your money not ours. REALLY!!!

Hillary's a coward
Years ago the presumptive presidential candidate was unknown till the close of the convention.
One woman told me how exciting it was to stay up all night and wait till the candidate was finally picked. She said how silly it was now having a convention when the candidate was already chosen. I began to ponder that.
You know, Hillary so desperately wanted to become the presidential nominee. She could taste it.
She had worked her whole life for this moment. She went through the primaries smug and assured that
the shoe was in the bag. Much to her surprise, Obama came out ahead.
However, how much more interesting the campaign would be if Hillary had the gumption, the
balls, if you will, to stand up at the Democratic Convention and say hey.. this is important to me, this is what I've worked for, this is what I stuck around with Bill for, this is my time.
Why didn't she go the way of Lieberman and say ooh I don't want to lose this gig and declare her candidacy as an independant. She could have been the Ross Perot of 08 lol. Instead, she sold her soul and her dreams for a 100 million dollar bail out from the dems.
Now along comes Sara Pailin.. Whether you like her politics or not (I do), you can't deny that she has created a fire storm of interest. She's pretty, intelligent, has a hot faithful husband.
Now Hillarys dream of being the first woman president are totally out. If McCann wins and
kicks the bucket Sara will be the first woman president. Poor Hillary...
Yet again, the ugly smart girl is not invited to the prom. The ugly smart girl has to take the back seat to the pretty maybe not so smart girl... Really Hillary what you should have learned from your friends like Gloria Steinhem, It's okay to put on your best Tuxedo pant suit and go to the dance by yourself..

Today I am outraged my the governments bailout of wall street. Even though I understand the reasons behind it. Domino effect and all. However, I strongly feel that the people who made millions of dollars in bonuses for companies that didn't make profits should pay the money back.
Also, finding out that 37 congress members have stock in AIG and are really bailing out themselves.
